SAT School Day vs. SAT Weekend
The College Board offers the SAT in two primary formats:
- SAT School Day:
- Administered by schools on a designated school day.
- Typically offered to all students in a particular grade level or to those who opt-in.
- Schools select specific dates within a designated testing window.
- The test is administered digitally using the Blue Book app.
- SAT Weekend:
- Administered at designated test centers on specific weekend dates.
- Students register individually and choose their preferred test date and location.
- The test is also administered digitally using the Blue Book app.
Both formats offer the same SAT, with the same content and difficulty level.9 The primary difference lies in the administration and scheduling.
